Preparation

Do not eat or drink any fluids for 2 hours before your session.

Eat light for a few days before the cleanse, like fruits, vegetables, gluten free grains, nuts & seeds and small amounts of fish. No pizza, red meat or heavy food.

A 24hr smoothie cleanse or 24hr fruit fast is really the best preparation.

Try and drink a gallon of water the day before the cleanse.

If you tend to be gassy, drink peppermint tea (use 2 tea bags per one cup and add honey if needed) 2 hours before the cleanse.

Wear ordinary clothing and come in relaxed, as you will enter a relaxed atmosphere. Time is spent during your session to make this a comfortable, pleasant and informative experience for you. Clients marvel at the wonderful way they feel when they come to my detox healing center and their results with the session. It is a great healing for your body to remove the many toxins that your large intestine does not expel on a daily basis. My 28 years of experience makes you confident that you have chosen the right person and a necessary and safe modality to help you with your health improvement journey.

Colonoscopy Preparation

Colon Hydrotherapy is indicated before colonoscopy, barium xray, pillcam and endoscopy.
Hospitals and doctor's offices are using colon hydrotherapy more frequently to cleanse the bowel
before colonoscopy for efficacy and comfort. Consider a series of 3 before your next bowel
diagnostic and use it as a time to cleanse. Here are 2 protocols to choose from:

Two Colon Hydrotherapy Schedules to Prep for Colonoscopy:

Schedule One
- Colon Hydrotherapy Session 1 is 2 days prior to exam.
- Colon Hydrotherapy Session 2 is 1 day prior to exam.
- Colon Hydrotherapy Session 3 is the morning or afternoon of the exam.

Schedule Two
- Colon Hydrotherapy Session 1 is 7 days prior to exam
- Colon Hydrotherapy Session 2 is 3 days prior to exam
- Colon Hydrotherapy Session 3 is the afternoon/evening prior to the exam

The preferred diet is all clear liquids 4 days prior to exam. Bone and vegetable broths, water,
lemon water and coconut water are ideal clear liquids and are least likely to generate significant
fecal matter or intestinal residue. The purpose of clear liquids is to avoid staining the colon walls
a different or darker color that would prevent clear seeing with the colonoscopy camera.

If a person suffers from constipation, on the 5th and 4th day prior to the colonoscopy, they will
need to take 3 ColonMax capsules (Advanced Naturals) (To be taken at night).
On the 3rd and 2nd day prior to the Colonoscopy they will need to switch to 3 tablespoons of Natural
Calm. (To be taken at night)
